Lamar’s general Return & Claims Policy

At LAMAR Furniture, your satisfaction is important to us. We offer a straightforward 15-day return policy with no restocking fees on eligible purchases made through show room or our online store.

Furniture and Furniture Accessories

We understand buying furniture is a big decision, and that you want the purchase to match your style and not be a costly mistake. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. We offer the following Return Policy to help you Make Your Home Great.

Upon receipt, carefully examine each piece of delivered furniture. If you notice any damage or imperfections, you must contact Customer Care within three days. We’ll schedule a service appointment to correct the issue. If you wish to return your furniture for preference reasons within 3 days, the original delivery fee will not be refunded and a 15% restocking fee will be charged. Customers making a one-time re-selection of equal or greater value will be charged a new delivery fee but will not be charged a restocking fee. The completed return of your merchandise must take place within seven (7) days of receipt of your merchandise. Merchandise must be returned in original condition.

Furniture accessories on display in our showrooms or on our website may be returned for re-selection or refund within seven (7) days of pick up or delivery with no restocking fee as long as they are returned in the original condition. Special order accessories, area rugs, lamps, wall art or other items that were ordered by customer request, are not eligible for re-selection or return.

Furniture Accessories may be returned to our showrooms. All merchandise must be returned in new condition with no signs of wear and tear, scratches, nicks, stains, pet hair, pet or food odor, smoke, damage, or missing parts.

As-Is, Clearance, Floor Sample, Clearance Outlet Merchandise

Clearance, Clearance Outlet merchandise and floor sample items are sold at reduced prices and may include scratches, and other imperfections. There are no refunds, exchanges, re-selections or service provided on as-is, close out, floor model, final sale, and clearance merchandise.

Pick up or delivery of clearance items must be completed within 48 hours of your purchase. Clearance items are excluded from our Mattress Sleep Guarantee.

What is Lamar’s mattress return policy?

Every mattress comes with a 100-night free trial. If you don't love your new mattress within the first 100 nights, you can arrange a return for free to store credit, or to your original payment method for a fee ranging from $49-$99. This excludes Mattress Toppers, Crib Mattresses, Air Mattresses, and Open Box Mattresses. Some payment methods (e.g. financing payment options) might not be eligible for store credit refunds - if Store Credit does not appear as an option when setting up the return, this is likely due to your original payment method.

If your mattress arrived folded, please allow 48–72 hours for it to fully expand and take its proper shape. For all mattresses, we kindly suggest you continue sleeping on it for two more weeks. This allows your body the necessary time to adapt; initial discomfort is a common part of the process. If, after 20 days, you’re still not completely comfortable, we’re here to help with a return and to find you a mattress that’s a perfect fit.

Requesting Your Return

How do I return an item if I change my mind?

1 - Visit the My Order section of My Account

2 - Identify and select the return option for the item you wish to return.

3 - Complete the online form, including selecting the desired return and refund method.

After setting up the return, you will receive a confirmation email with specific instructions. This will also contain any return labels you need. Please refer to this email if you have any questions.

  • If you have selected "Drop-off" as your return method, please drop it off at Lamar’s warehouse and get instructions from our customer service: info@lamarfurniture.com
  • If you have selected "Pick-up" as your return method, our partner carrier will come to pick up the item at your mentioned address. You should expect further communications regarding the scheduling of your pickup and a reminder email the day before the collection.
  • If you have selected 'Lamar Store Drop Off' as your return method, please bring your item and QR code provided in the return confirmation email to the store location.

You may receive a special offer to accept a discount to keep the item instead of going through the hassle of returning it. This is a special offer just for you and the amount cannot be changed. If you do not wish to accept the discount, you can decline and proceed with setting up a return.

For rug returns, please return your rug in its original condition and packaging, or secure it using similar packaging if the original is unavailable.

Refunds

All refunds will be given in the form of the original payment. If payment was made by cash or check, a refund check will be mailed from our corporate office within 7-10 days after the product is returned in the original condition and inspection completed. Refunds on bank cards or More for You cards are credited to the card used as payment and will show up as a credit per their policy. When a purchase is made using multiple methods of payment, credit to finance companies is applied first as required by our agreement with them.

 

Customer Responsibilities

  • Retain all packaging and documents.
  • Use insured and trackable shipping methods for returns.
  • Provide complete photos and order details when requested.
